Theoretical and Practical Training Course on Firearms and Ammunition This program is structured in compliance with current legislation in Romania (Law no. 295/2004 and IGPR Order no. 23 of 14.02.2020) and is mandatory for obtaining the first firearm permit (lethal or non-lethal). The course combines essential legal concepts with safe handling techniques and live firing at a shooting range.
Module I: Theoretical Training (Legislation & Regulations) -- 34 HOURS Topics on the knowledge of legislation regarding the regime of weapons and ammunition
Module II: USE OF FORCE / FIREARM USAGE -- 8 HOURS Topics on understanding the legal aspects regarding the use of firearms;
Module III: FIRST AID -- 8 HOURS Topics on knowing the procedure for administering first aid in case of a firearm injury;
Module IV: ARMORING / GUNSMITHING -- 14 HOURS Topics regarding the knowledge of component parts and the mechanism of operation and use of weapons and ammunition. Basics of ballistics;
Module V: PRACTICAL ACTIVITIES -- 16 HOURS Practical activity of executing shooting sessions in an authorized shooting range in accordance with republished Law 295/2004, with subsequent amendments and completions.
